Pat enlisted our help to transform all the main living areas of her patio home. She wanted a home makeover, so we tackled each of these areas of her home – entryway, living room, kitchen, dining room and all-seasons room. She already had so many great pieces, some new and some not-so-new, beautiful heirlooms. The transformation in her all-seasons room was quite simple and required no additional purchases. The challenge with this home makeover was Pat had several different themes and styles throughout her home (farmhouse, modern, tropical and antique) and because her furnishing were extremely nice, we wanted to use them all.
All-Seasons room design theme
She had quite a few tropical-themed wall art and accessories throughout the home. Her all-seasons room was the perfect spot for that type of design theme. We gathered all those topical-themed pieces and placed into her all-seasons room. We had just enough to fill the space without it feeling overcrowded.
In addition to bringing all tropical-themed accessories into this space, we changed out the paint color to a beautiful, light neutral, we removed the dated window coverings and rearranged the furniture to maximize the space. We traded out the wood coffee table for the animal print, bamboo coffee table that was in the living room. It worked perfectly as it ties the room’s theme up nicely. Since this is the main TV room in the home, all seating was arranged for maximum TV viewing. Check out the transformation from all corners.
Pat’s all-seasons room turned out better than she could have imaged, and all by using what she already had scattered throughout her home.
