Want a more “home office” feel while at your workplace? That is exactly what Jessica wanted and that’s exactly what she got – a Boss-Lady Glam Office Makeover! Many businesses are opting for a more “at home” feel, especially in their common areas. It’s a great way to create a calm, inviting and comfortable environment for you and your clients.
Before her office space was completely transformed, it felt a bit masculine and heavy with the dark colors and typical office furniture. And since she spends a lot of time in this space, she decided it was important that she LOVE it. She called me up and I was excited to work on this unique project.
the challenge
The existing carpet was a dark, “workplace” pattern and the furniture was dark and heavy. The client elected to keep the desk to save on cost but agreed to replace the other pieces.
The room arrangement was the first order of business. We also purchased a large scale buffet and armoire that was gently used in a dining room. It was a great investment and brought warmth to the space – more home, less office feel.
We brought in the feeling of home with lamps and greenery.
