High impact, low cost makeover
Kitchen and Bathroom Makeovers are one of my favorites! These rooms can be the most expensive renovations in your home. But I like to recommend the most cost effective option if the cabinets are in good shape – paint. You can change the look of the entire kitchen just by painting your cabinets. It’s is a labor of love, no doubt. But, if you have the right tools and know the proper steps, you’ll do just fine.
My experience
In a previous home, I transformed our kitchen and two bathrooms by painting all the cabinetry. It’s important to know this was all long before I started home styling. I had never painted anything prior to these cabinet projects. But I was determined to change the look of my kitchen at a minimal cost. I’ve also transformed the cabinets in my current home more recently, so I’ve got plenty of hands-on experience with this daunting task.
