Old Charm, Modern Touch.

Redesign Projects

I had the pleasure of working with a repeat client on an old, tiny storefront building he had purchased. This building had once been a service station (as they used to call it) many years back. I have a huge appreciation for older things as they hold so much history. He wasn’t yet sure what the building would be used for but knew it needed some window coverings.

The windows in this place are truly amazing as they cover all 3 walls from top to bottom. It was important to me not to disrupt the integrity of the charm by merely adding traditional blinds. I wanted to add something that could easily be fully raised but also could serve as blackout shades when the store wasn’t being used.

I found the perfect solution in Bali Layered Shades. This option offers the versatility of full open views, partial open views or full black-out. They look lovely from the inside and out. And rather than reducing the character of this charmer, they enhanced it!
